Establishing Context
I combined the technologies of the past with the present and the future.
The artwork was in a former car workshop of the earliest models of cars. One of these cars was part of an antique documented car tour.
I edited some photos from this record. I used a process called 'image dissection'.
The aim is to highlight the digital technology behind the image by contrasting it with the picture subject.
I attached the photos on a window using electrical tape shaping rays. Indeed, the car model was a so-called Phaethon, a character related to the sun.
Dealing with social and environmental concerns related to the materials used in some models of electric devices has become a challenge.
